Hey Everyone!
Meet Danelle Lavin, a real estate broker at Hilton & Hyland, which manages the sales of some of LA’s most exclusive estates and architecturally significant homes. I have known her and her husband, Matt, for years, and I have always loved her decorating style. And, I’m not just saying that because she’s also a fan! Danelle and Matt have really created a home that’s both “Chalet Chic” yet ultra welcoming.
The couple lives on the cusp of Beverly Hills and West Hollywood in a beautiful home with their first baby, Sophia, who is now 4 months old. Danelle loves her job but most of all, loves being a new mom. “My daughter is my biggest blessing I’ve ever received!”
Won’t you join us as Danelle takes us on a tour of the lovely home she’s made for herself and family? First lets start with my favorite part, the guest house!
I love that she chose the Top of Snowmass Diptych for this area, which as luck would have it for you readers out there, is currently part of our Winter Wonderland President’s Day sale. It really gives the space that Chalet Chic vibe.
Doesn’t this room make you want to cozy into the couch with a nice glass of something and flip through one of those beautiful coffee table books?
For fun, she loves traveling, playing tennis, going to new restaurants, DJ’ing (she even has turn tables at her home) and riding horses. Her and her husband own two polo ponies, Harvey Wallbanger and Lady McQueen, and although he plays more often than she, they both share a love for playing polo and the laid back life style that comes with it. I seriously can NOT wait to show her all of the images of Snow Polo at St. Moritz in Switzerland, which is a new series of images coming VERY soon. I have a feeling her and Matt might just love it!
Next up is where the beautiful couple rest their heads after days spent working, parenting, and living the lives of a lovely Angelino couple. This image is a personal favorite of mine as well as part of the first series released during my days of just starting out.
The Two Cowboys take good care of them while they sleep.
Thanks so much to Danelle and Matt (and Sophia!) for letting us in their truly amazing home. We may come knocking on your door again to just cozy up in the guest house! Or, maybe just hang outside in their patio area for a little R & R.
